We are the Hong Kong sole agent of Union locks from the U.K. Union Locks was founded in 1840 in Willenhall as a private company and was listed in the London Stock Exchange in 1936. In the year 2000, it became part of the Asia Abloy group and the group turnover in 2001 was US$2 billion. Union is well known for its impeccable quality, outstanding product development and enhanced technical services to customers. Union is the largest Locks manufacturer in England and over 3.3 million of mortice locks are manufactured each year. Union has been the professional's choice in Hong Kong Government projects, greade A commercial buildings, Universities, hospitals, hotels, Hong Kong Housing Authority, residential projects, and reputable developers such as Sun Hung Kai and Harrimans. As part of their customer service, Union provides architects with free ironmongery scheduling service, selection of products, verification of specifications and on site installation assistance.
(2) Construction Supplies and Specialist Contracting
We are the Hong Kong sole agent of U.S origin 'Balco Inc' expansion joint covers, entrance mats, wall protection and stair nosing products and we have been installing expansion joints in Hong Kong and Shanghai from 1985. One notable project where we have completed installation to meet the handover ceremony in 1997 was The Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre Extension. Others like C.W.I.L. 152, Siu Sai Wan (Sino Group) and Kowloon Station, which were valued at HK$ 5.20 million and HK$ 1.20 million of contract sum respectively. Projects where the installation of expansion join covers have been completed in the past 3 years were Lei Yue Mun Road Redevelopment (HK3.70 million), Ko Chiu Road, Phase 5 (HK$0.8 million) and Tseung Kwan O Area 74, Phase 1 (HK$0.8 million). Other projects where work has commenced are Kwai Chung Estate Ph. 3 (HK$ 4 million), Tseung Kwan O 73A Ph. 1, Ph. 3 & Ph. 4, etc. In addition, we also supplied Balco entrance mats, wall protection systems and stari nosing to various notable projects in Hong Kong like Tsing Yi Station, Pacific Place, Sky Plaze, The Landmark & 11 Chater Road, etc.
(3) Road Safety and Wall Protection Products
We are the Hong Kong sole agent of 'Hazard Safety' Products from the U.K. With over 30 years in the industry, Hazard has developed a full range of innovative products to suit many different market sectors such as schools, hospitals, warehouses, airports, retail parks and shopping centers. Products include speed stopper, floor and wall buffers, traffic barriers, cable ramps, loading bay bumpers, steel bollards and one way traffic flaps, etc. One recent project where Hazard has supplied their Double D heavy duty wall buffer is the Asia Airfreight Terminal Extension at Chek Lap Kok airport.
